Severus Snape

Severus Snape is a fictional character in the Harry Potter series. He is the potions master and head of Slytherin house at Hogwarts school. He seems to hate Harry Potter, yet is trusted by Albus Dumbledore.

The was intense rivalry between Severus and James Potter when they were students at Hogwarts. This was compounded when James saved Severus' life. Severus served Voldermort when he first rose to power.
