Junior is:

  • A child.
  • A low-level position.
  • A student in the third year of high school or college.
  • The younger of two people with the same name (e.g., Ken Griffey Jr.).
  • An informal term used to contrast the inexperience of an individual compared to an experienced one.
  • A nickname for George W. Bush.
  • In Fraggle Rock, the name of the Gorgs' son.
  • The name of the child character in the movie Problem Child.

The opposite is senior.
