Talitsa (Russian- Талица) is a name of several towns in Russia. The largest one is in Sverdlovsk Oblast, and it is the admistrative center of Talitskiy rayon (county seat). It is located on the right bank of Pyshma river, near the Yekaterinburg-Tymen segment of Transsiberian railroad, 219 km east of Yekaterinburg. The railroad station Talitsa is located in town Troitskiy north of Talitsa. Population of Talitsa is 18,800 (2005). The town is known for its pharmaceutical industry.
