The Soleil Royal (Royal Sun) was a French ship of the line.

She was built in 1692 in Brest by Blaise Pangalo as Foudroyant ("Lightning").

In March 1693, she was commissioned as Soleil Royal.

She was scuttled in Toulon in 1707. She was later put back afloat, and sold for scrap.

For other ships of the name, see French ship Soleil-Royal.
