Species | Catatonian Cats |
The Catatonian Cat is a fictional species featured in both the 1993–1996 and 2006 animated television series Biker Mice from Mars.
The "Catatonians" are a species of cat-like humanoids/humanoid cats from a planet called Catatonia. Catatonians have family groups similar to the Earth species of cat, multible litters of kittens. The Catatonians are the natural enemies of the "Martian Cave Mice"; the Catatonian Cats want to eat the Martian Mice species, but their agendas go further than that; the Catatonians also want to conquer the whole of Mars and obtain/steal a certin valuble piece of revolutionary Martian technology: "The Regenerator" - a breakthrough in Matter Convertion Technology.
They plan to either acquire an already existing Regenerator, as they tried to on Mars (The Adventure Begins - part 1), or, successfully abduct General Stoker, the Martian Military Scientist who had created the Regenerator to sustain a barren Mars in the first place by providing Water. Once the Catatonians get their paws on a working Regenerator they plan on "turing every planet in our Solar System into a series of litter boxes capable of supporting the Catatonian lifestyle".
Heading the Catatonian Occupation of Mars and their activities on Earth is Cataclysm, a hulking giant of a Catatonian, who mission in life is conquest and meal... of Martian Mice. Cataclysm is unfortuneatly accompanied by his incompetent younger brother, "Assistant Supreme Commander Hannibal T. Hairball" the runt of the litter.
The Catatonian operations on Earth are aided by Ronaldo Rump, an unethical and greedy 'land developer' and business man who years beforehand had threatened another's life to coerce Stoker to build Rump his very own Regenerator. Ronaldo Rump finances the Catatonian activities on Earth as they work together to capture General Stoker and not only do they plan to force him to build a Regenerator for the Catatonians, but also another Regenerator for Ronaldo Rump.

The 'Surfer Cats from Saturn are a colony of Catatonian cats, a species of cat-like humanoids/humanoid cats, who are originally from a planet called Catatonia.
Though the Sufer Cats are Catatonian by birth, they have long since renounced their Catatonian heritage and adopted a self-imposed exile on Titan, Saturn’s largest moon.
Led by Tane, the Sufer Cats, as they call themselves, now live out a peaceful exsistance in a surfing-based culture dedicated to the worship a god-like entity, known as "Saturnius".
Although since their location has been discovered by the Catatonians this way of life is now under threat.

Species | Earthian Human (Homo sapiens sapiens) |
Human beings are an alien species featured in both the 1993–1996 and 2006 animated television series Biker Mice from Mars. Terms like Earthling and Terran are also among the terms that can be used (by fans of the show) since when any member of an alien species is mentioned in the animated series, they are simply refered by their planet; a "Martian", "Plutarkian" or "Catatonian".
Strickly speaking, human beings are not a fictional alien species, and in the animated series, from an aliens point of view, humans are just another alien species; humanoid in appearence, and in the cartoon, humanoid species' have a number traits in common; only the fact that the human race has not yet developed intersteller travel, or are aware of/have proof of the existance of life on other worlds seperate them from most aliens featured in the animated series.
Only a few people are aware of the above:
- Charley Davidson
- The Pit Boss
- Jimmy Mack (thought that the Biker Mice were mutantions)
- Four-By
- Chef Andy
- Jack McCyber

Species | Martian Cave Mice |
The Martian Cave Mouse is a fictional species featured in both the 1993–1996 and 2006 animated television series Biker Mice from Mars.
The three main characters are all Martian Cave Mice. The Martian Cave Mouse is a species of alien mice, which is indigenous only to Mars.
Martian Mice are essentially humanoid mice; bipeds with long tails, fur and hair (except for Modo and Vinnie). They have elongated snouts, (shorter then Martian Rats) and enlarged upper incisor teeth. They have large ears compared to Martian Rats. Martian Mice have yellow Sclera and have either red or pink iriss'.
They are also the only humanoid Martian species with one unique physical feature: antennae; which enables Martian Mice the unique ability to share memories between one-another and show ones memories with a member of another species, and its one ability that neither Martian Rats or Sand Raiders are evolutionaly endowned with--and one that fans have dubbed "Touch Telepathy"--as a Martian Mouse must touch their antennae to another's forehead.
The antennae also bonus as an additional sense, in So Life Like, when Throttle is matched against an evil, but-not quite-the-same double of himself, he evades 'negaThrottle' by making appear that he has escaped--a trick which the 'negaThrottle' falls for and its revealed that Throttle was infact simply out of sight; he taps his head, indecating his antennae and remarks; "Martian Mouse Sense; just can't be duplicated".
Monks

Species | Martian Cave Mice |
Gender | Male |
Occupation | Monks |
Although almost nothing is known about them, and they appeared in only one story, the monks are one of the most intriguing minor character groups.
Their monastery is vaguely Japanese in style, but the monks themselves wear medieval European-style habits of a reddish-brown colour.
Although they all appear to be Cave Mice (like all Freedom Fighters including the Biker Mice), they lack the antennae of other mice. This reason for this is unclear, although may have religious origins.
The monastery was built over the secret headquarters of the Freedom Fighters, and was consequently partly destroyed by the Plutarkians. Their current situation is unknown.

Species | Martian Rats |
The Martian Rat is a fictional species featured in both the 1993–1996 and 2006 animated television series Biker Mice from Mars.
So far, the only examples of Martian Rats are The Tunnel Rat(?) first seen in The Reeking Reign of the Head Cheese, part 2; and Mace, whose seen in the Once Upon A Time On Mars three-parter. Both these examples of Martian Rats illustrate a racial hatred for humanoid co-Martian sub-species, the Martian Cave Mice.
Martian Rat are essentially humanoid rats; bipeds with tails, fur, elongated snouts, (longer than Martian Mice), enlarged upper incisor teeth (Mace Canine teeth were visible while his incisors were not), ears like a wolfs instead of ears like earth-variety rats, and, (at least in Mace's case), eyes with red sclera and black iris'.
Character-wise, they are portrayed as a race of villians; malicious, untrustworthy and mercenary-esque.

Species | Martian Sand Raiders |
The Martian Sand Raider is a fictional species featured in both the 1993–1996 and 2006 animated television series Biker Mice from Mars.
A race of hyena-like humanoid inhabitants of Mars, the Sand Raiders were allies of the Plutarkians during the Wars of Liberation (although curiously Limburger seems unfamiliar with them in ‘Back to Mars’). Later they turned to slaving.
Led by their obese, degenerate chief Slobber the Mutt (a parody of Jabba the Hutt of the ‘’Star Wars’’ franchise) they patrol the Martian wastelands in bipedal mechanical Stilt-Walkers, resembling the AT-ST walkers, also of ‘’Star Wars’’ fame.
In dress and in their vaguely Cornish accents they follow many of the common stereotypes of pirates.

Species | Stalkers |
Occupation | Trophy Hunters |
Of insectile-appearance, but with bird-like legs, the Stalkers are actually a race of aliens who spend their time hunting the greatest living examples of that creature’s species.
They had come to Mars, and then Earth, seeking Throttle, Modo and Vinnie in this capacity, although also went in pursuit of Rimfire after witnessing his skill on the battlefield and discovering his relationship to Modo.
They are honourable in their way, and bound by strict rules – they approach Limburger for a hunting permit before going after the mice.
Although equipped with formidable natural weapons such as talons, they also use an extensive range of technological devices – flying platforms, lasers, explosive arrows shot from compound bows and so on.
The Stalkers themselves seem to be based on Predators franchise.

Occupation | Mechanics |
The Tudesian Rabbit is a fictional species featured in both the 1993–1996 and 2006 animated television series Biker Mice from Mars.
According to Razer, the Tudesian Rabbits were originally from China on planet Earth, but were somehow banished to the Moon "a long time ago". Razer remarked that it was because of "one trick too many, I guess" that got them into trouble.
At some point prior to the events in the series, the Catatonians discovered the Rabbits on the Moon's surface. Eager to return to Earth, the Tudesian Rabbits agreed to a deal with the Tudesian Rabbits; they would be trained to be the Catatonians and help as their new mechanics, and the Catatonians would help Tudesian Rabbits return to Earth. However, while the Rabbits kept up their end of their bargin, the Catatonians did not and just left the Tudesian Rabbits on the Moon "eclipses ago".
Upon the crash landing of Cataclysm's spaceship near the Rabbits' colony on the Moon's surface and arranging to have his ship fixed, Cataclysm and the Catatonians intend to just ditch the Rabbit's on the Moon again. Overhearing this, the Tudesian Rabbits secretly inlist the help of the Martian Biker Mice to take on the Catatonians and transport the Rabbit population to Earth. Successful, the Tudesian Rabbits and the Biker Mice safely crash land on Earth near Chicago, and needless to say the Tudesian Rabbits were delighted with the supply of all the vegetables.
Tudesian Rabbits are able to communicate secretly by thumping their feet repeatedly on the rocky ground like Morse code. Having been intercepting Catatonian transmissions for some years now, they are also up-to-date with the news of the war between the Martian Mice and the Catatonian Cats, they knew enough to know that Stoker needed to be kept out of the Sunlight. They also dislike being called "Bunnies".
