Toby Morland

Toby Morland (born 27 February 1980 in Oamaru, New Zealand) is a NZ rugby union player (halfback), currently playing for the Super 14 team Highlanders. His light weight figure along with his low IQ has given him the nicknames 'Munta' 'Wee man' or 'Smeagal', the latter being a character out of Lord of the Rings which has close resemblance to Morland. In his early playing years, after poor performances for the Central u16 team, Morland was left out of the M.B.C first XV in place of Nick (Raison Head) Goddard, who was, as fate has it, the coaches son. Currently engaged to long time partner Kate, Morland is set to become the first of all of his friends (all 3) to become married.
