O Brother, Where Art Thou is a comedic film directed by Joel and Ethan Coen about a convict who escapes prison to stop his ex-wife from remarrying. It stars George Clooney, John Turturro, Tim Blake Nelson, John Goodman, and Holly Hunter and is based loosely on The Odyssey by Homer.

It prominently features bluegrass, gospel, blues, and country music.
