Terrassa (Latin Egara) (approx 180.000 population) is one of the two major cities of the comarca of Vallès Oriental in Catalonia, Spain, the other being Sabadell.

Terrassa was olympic sub-site for the field hockey competition during the Barcelona 1992 Olympics.
