Orin Isaacs
Orin Isaacs is a Canadian bass guitarist, record and television music producer, best known as the bandleader on Mike Bullard's late-night talk shows Open Mike with Mike Bullard and The Mike Bullard Show.
Orin is currently the Musical Director/Bassist on Canadian Idol. Orins music production and composing work can be heard on the top two shows in Canada Canadian Idol (CTV) Hockey Night In Canada (CBC). As well as Project Runway Canada (Slice) Canada’s Walk Of Fame (CTV) The Jon Dore Show (Comedy Network), the 2006 Torino & 2002 Salt Lake Winter Olympics, CFL Football, Brier Curling, Karcher Curling, 2004 World Cup Hockey (CBC Sports) Stars On Ice (CBC) The Business Of Sports (TSN) Divine Design (W, HGTV US) Colour Confidential (W) Divine Restoration (Vision,TV One) Toronto Variety Show (SunTV), Hatching, Matching and Dispatching (CBC), Pop Cultured (Comedy). TV Specials like Comedy Gold (CBC),Cream of Comedy, The Nubian Disciples (Comedy) Mindtrip & Canada's Worst Driver 2 (Discovery). Orin has also composed 3 movies for the National Film Board of Canada “Jane and Finch Again, Shinny and Flemingdon Park” He also composed music for “My Father’s Hands” which won the HBO Award for best short at the Acapulco Black Film Festival.
