Wiki Syntax
Thanks for letting me know about that problem with the maths tags - I had missed Wiml's note, and I've added a note to his talk page about this problem.
With the new lines between square brackets, that's a tricky one. A lot of the time these really are problems, and to date they could always be rewritten on one line, so they're deliberately listed as problems.
For example, these should all not work (even though the brackets are balanced, the new line means they don't work):
- [[first line
second line]]
- [[first line
|second line]]
- second line (this one displays really weirdly)
This sort of works, but not as the author probably intended:
And the image example works OK. Note that the bacterium example can be rewritten as all being one line by removing all the line breaks, and it will still display the same (although I can understand why they'd prefer it on separate lines, as it's easier to read the source this way). Honestly, I'm not really sure what to do with this one ... :-\ All the best, and thank you for your feedback and help with fixing up the Wiki Syntax. -- Nickj 01:37, 4 Dec 2004 (UTC)
Bilardo:
- Maybe you want to expand on his days with Boca Juniors or add some external link such as

- Adding Dr. to the name is not correct in English. You have the name, and then you are addressed as Dr Bilardo, Prof Bilardo, Mister Bilardo... (You might add a suffix such as MBE, OM, etc. to the name)
Diego:
"Has been" - indeed
The Greatest... hmmm... methinks the same, but let's keep the proportions (the way I did when I wrote about Gimnasia y Esgrima de La Plata). Hey, do you really want 19355 brazucas editing the article back and forth? Anyway, Alfredo di Stefano was as great, and maybe even Omar Sivori (yo argentino).
Thanks
Thanks for your advice country-fellow! It is always nice to find users from Argentina. I moved from the Spanish version. Regards, Luis María Benítez 22:19, 20 May 2005 (UTC)

From the official web site of Estudiantes de La Plata (see link on bottom of article), I realize that the shield of Estudiantes in the article is outdated. Can you go about making it current? Thanks in advance, elpincha 03:23, 28 May 2005 (UTC)
- Hope you liked it, yet it looks a bit too small in 20px, like in the Intercontinental Cup article --Mariano 11:34, 2005 Jun 1 (UTC)

Thank you for your contributions to Spanish prepositions. :) — Chameleon 11:42, 6 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- My pleasure. We're only missing examples for the prepositions that still don't have them. I'll get on it if yo udon't do it first (and if I have time). --Mariano 11:59, 2005 Jun 6 (UTC)

Thanks, Mariano, for your kind words on my humble contributions. I'll try to comply, but -as my interests are quite random- I'm afraid I'll get lost in the categories' abyss. Saludos, Ejrrjs | What? 18:04, 10 Jun 2005 (UTC)
Thanks for your contribs...
just a question... How did you configure your mail? (to send you a mail, the system is asking me for configure my own)
ps: Did you speak really all theses languages? ps2: I have an Argentinian friend living in Slovenia... you must be the only two Argentinian Sloven speakers! Qsebas 18:01, 14 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- Hi Sebas! Go to PREFERENCES (Up, right, between My Talk and My Watchlist) and in USER DATA set your mail information.
- I also live in Slovenia, but there are quite a few of us here! And there are around 30.000 Slovene immigrants living in Argentina since WWII. I also studied Italian, and just started French. Slovene is very similar to Croatian and Serbian, so yes, I can read an article in those language and write a few sentences if needed.
- See you arouund and Good Wiking! -Mariano 06:47, 2005 Jun 15 (UTC)
