For your contribution to My RfA, which passed with 8000 Supports, 2 Neutrals and no opposes.

The standards and dedication of the English Wikipeidan Administrators is excellent and I am privileged to stand among them. Thankyou for putting you trust in me, I'll not see it abused. And now, I will dance naked around a fire. Party at my place! Cheers! Dfrg.msc 08:59, 16 October 2007 (UTC)

RfA Thanks

Thanks, Archive!
Thank you for your support in my RfA. It was a success, and I look forward to getting started! Hiberniantears 18:04, 20 October 2007 (UTC)

npov?

So, can I ask if you, yourself thought the article failed to comply with NPOV?

Theanks Geo Swan 05:18, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

perceived POV?

I write on controversial topics, so I make a special effort to fully comply with WP:NPOV and the other core wikipolicies.

I don't exect to succeed 100% of the time. So I ask everyone who has expressed a concern about my contributions have lapsed from policy whether they will offer me a specific explanation of how specific passages have lapsed from policy.

Sometimes other wikipedians can't be bothered explaining their concern.

Sometimes other wikipedians do respond, and I become a better wikipedia contributor, because they were right.

Sometimes those other wikipedian do respond, and, from their responses I come to the conclusion their concern was triggered by a misunderstanding. I want to avoid contributing material that triggers a valid POV concern. And I want to avoid contributing material that falsely triggers a perception of POV.

I'd really appreciate it if you could take the time to be specific about what triggered your concerns.

Cheers! Geo Swan 18:22, 22 October 2007 (UTC)

Thanks, Um-tut-Sut!

Some folks just don't seem to get it, do they? --Orange Mike 18:21, 23 October 2007 (UTC)

RfA thank-spam

Thank you!
Thank you for your help in my RfA. It hammered home a few things I need to keep in mind while admining and passed with a final tally of 40/0/4; two people forgot to vote in time, leaving me short of that exquisite number :-(, but I'll just have to fudge the next vote about me. Adminship feels slightly august but not particularily exalted, so I shall endeavour to consider it a toolkit and make sincere efforts to know what I'm doing before using it. If you later on have something to say or want to ask for --

Hi there; just a friendly reminder that we really need your input on the proposal being discussed here. Without it, we can't craft a solution which is acceptable to everyone, and without indicating your willingness to go along with a solution, the whole process could fail. Thanks in advance, --Haemo 19:31, 29 October 2007 (UTC)
Have you thought about it ? :)))Taprobanus 17:13, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

My recent RfA

Thank you for participating in my recent RfA. Although the voting ended at 36/22/5, there was no consensus to promote, and the RfA was unsuccessful. I would like the thank you nonetheless for supporting me during the RfA, and hope that any future RfA’s proceed better than this one did. Again, I thank you for your support. ≈ The Haunted Angel Review Me! 02:18, 3 November 2007 (UTC)

Guy Fawkes Remember, remember, the fifth of November?
Thank you to everyone who participated in my Request for adminship, which was successful at 50/5/0 on November 5th, 2007.
It became, as you may know, rather contentious toward the end (though fortunately no gunpowder was involved), and I appreciate the work of other Wikipedians to keep it focused. --Thespian 02:13, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
