Lists of flags
This is a list of all flags available on Wikipedia, mostly national flags. Currently, there are two versions of the same flag for most countries: a full-size one (usually in the range of 450 by 300 pixels) and a medium sized one of at most 125 pixels in width, derived from the larger image. The images of national flags are originally based on the public domain flags of the CIA World Factbook, though most of the flags have had their colours improved and many have been resized to their proper ratios.
To use these flags in Wikipedia articles, first simply click on the links provided here to see the image directly. For the article itself, use the [[Image:<country>_flag_large]] or [[Image:<country>_flag_medium]] format. The correct format for each country is also given in the list. Please do not use any of the direct links in your article, only use the [[Image:...]] syntax. Note that you can alternatively use a simple space instead of an underscore ( _ ) in the image title.
