The Monk (Doctor Who)

The Meddling Monk is a fictional character in the British television series Doctor Who.

He appears in a few early episodes, as an adversary of William Hartnell's Doctor. He was by the English actor Peter Butterworth.

The Meddling Monk was the possessor of a Tardis. This implies that he was probably a Time Lord, although it was never stated at the time since the concept of the Doctor's race had not yet been devised.
