Henry Fa'afili, born 30th May, 1980 in Apia, Samoa, is a Samoan Rugby Union Player currently playing for Biarritz in the Heineken Cup.

Henry Fa'afili's position of choice is on the wing. He can also operate in the centres or in the second row.

Fa'afili is a New Zealand and Samoan international.

New Zealand Warriors

He has previously played for the New Zealand Warriors in the National Rugby League competition. He made his debut in 2000.

Warrington Wolves

Fa'afili signed for Warrington Wolves in 2004 and whilst at Warrington he has scored many tries from high cross field kicks from Lee Briers. He has scored 72 tries in 92 appearances for the Wolves (as at August 2007). It was recently announced that he will leave the Wolves at the end of 2007 season because of salary cap restraints. Henry played his last game for the Warrington Wolves on Friday 14th September 2007 against Salford City Reds. The Wolves won 34-26.

Harlequins Rugby League

In September 2007 Henry Signed a two-year deal to play for Harlequins RL starting from the 2008 season. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]

Biarritz Olympique

Fa'afili has agreed what was initially seen as a short-term deal with French Rugby Union side Biarritz. He was deemed to be signed as cover for the injured Martín Gaitán and was set for a return to England for pre-season training with Harlequins Rugby League. [7] [8]

There was initially some confusion over the length of the deal, with Tony Rea confirming that Fa'afili would be playing for Biarritz in the short-term. [9]

Fa'afili has since reneged on the deal and the matter is now in the hands of the Harlequins Rugby League legal representatives. [10] He is however free to play for the French side at this moment.

Representatitive Football

Fa'afili has also represented New Zealand at international level on several occasions, scoring a hat-trick against Great Britain in 2003 at Ewood Park, Blackburn during the Tri-Nations. His last appearance for New Zealand was against Great Britain in June 2006 at St Helens.

He also represented Samoa in the 2000 World Cup.
