A. M. Homes is an American author.

She is the author of "Jack", "The Safety of Objects" and "In a Country of Mothers".

In 1996 she released "The End of Alice", a controversial novel about a convicted child killer who encourages a young woman he corresponds with to sexually abuse a child.

Homes also teaches at Columbia University.
