Honeymoon (House)
Template:House (TV series) episode
Honeymoon is the twenty-second and final episode of the first season of House, which premiered on the FOX network on May 24, 2005.
Plot
House agrees to take the case of his ex-girlfriend Stacy's husband Mark, but the team feels that House may be giving Mark unethical treatments in revenge for what happened when House was undergoing surgery for his leg. After Mark is diagnosed with porphyria and must stay at Princeton-Plainsboro to undergo treatment for his illness, Stacy agrees to stay close to the hospital and takes a job as a hospital attorney, much to the chagrin of House. The episode ends with the Rolling Stones song, "You Can't Always Get What You Want", the same song that House quotes in the pilot episode to explain to Cuddy why he does not want to do clinic duty; at the line "...but if you try sometimes/you just might find/you get what you need...", House leans back in his chair and tosses a Vicodin into the air, then catches it in his mouth in the last frame of the season.
Notes
- This episode has a special opening theme. Instead of the usual instrumental version of Teardrop by Massive Attack, this episode features the remixed version used as the first season's closing theme.
