Andy Jones was born on January 15, 1948 in St. John's, Newfoundland and his birth name was Andrew Jordan Jones. He is a brother of Cathy Jones.

Andy and his sister Cathy are well known for CODCO. Some of guest starring roles were on Kids in the Hall: Brain Candy as a Monkey Scientist in a sketch.
