Steve Brown (yo-yo player)

In 1996, Brown competed in the World Yo-Yo Contest and placed fourth. The next year, he placed fourth in Single A (Single-handed) yo-yoing and came in fourth and third in Single A Freestyle (single-handed yo-yoing) yo-yoing. In 1998, he came in fourth in Single A Freestyle.

In 1998, Brown worked for Team Losi and designed a series of yo-yos for the company.

In 1999, Brown competed in the Bay Area Classic Invitational and won the Single A Freestyle. In 2001, he again won the event. Brown served as a stunt double during a scene in the film Zoolander.

Brown received the National Yo-Yo Master Award. Steve Brown used to work for a division of Flambeau Plastics, where he designed and marketed yo-yos for them. In 2006 Steve Brown started a full time performing career.
