Rosewater railway station was located 7km from Dry Creek on the Dry Creek to Port Adelaide line. It was located in the north-western Adelaide suburb of Rosewater, and just north of Eric Sutton Oval. The station consisted merely of a 2 metre step-down platform and shelter shed.
History
The station opened in 1916, along with the Rosewater Loop, on the Dry Creek to Port Adelaide line, and was the busiest station on the line. The station closed in May 1988, along with passenger services on the route mainly due to low patron numbers. The station has since been demolished.

Former editor of the Mat Marketplace newsletter, Sheldon Goldberg had been involved with promoters Tony Rumble and Paul Heyman in bringing Michinoku Pro to the United States during the late-1990s. [3] By September 2000, Goldberg himself began holding professional wrestling events in the Boston-area, successfully selling out local venues such as the Quincy Armory. Over the next several years, the promotion developed a strong following based on its traditional "family-friendly" style of professional wrestling as an alternative to the adult themed sports entertainment adopted by World Wrestling Entertainment.
In 2004, the promotion began a multimedia project featuring a video podcast of highlights from recently held wrestling events through its affiliate NECW.tv website. Its weekly internet broadcasts eventually grew to over 200,000 viewers in over 40 countries around the world. Its exposure was further increased through DVD releases of yearly supercards such as the popular Iron 8 Championship Tournament. [4] The following year, the NECW was one of several independent promotions who recognized the death of Eddie Guerrero holding a memorial event in his honor which featured a special video tribute produced by the promotion.
In August 2006, New England Championship Wrestling merged with PWF Mayhem which held its last card unifying its championship titles in an interpromotional event in Quincy, Massachusetts on August 16. The event saw PWF Mayhem Tag Team ChampionsThe Canadian Superstars (J-Busta & Dave Cole) defeated NECW Tag Team ChampionsThe Wild Boys (Billy King & Mike Lynch) for the NECW Unified Tag Team Championship, PWF Mayhem Junior Heavyweight Champion"The Talent" TJ Richter defeated NECW Television Champion"Big Guns" Frankie Arion for the NECW Unified Television Championship and PWF Mayhem Heavyweight Champion"The Human Nightmare" Evan Siks defeated NECW Heavyweight ChampionD.C. VGMaps.com: The Video Game Atlas, (referred to as VGMaps.com or simply VGMaps) is a video gameatlas that collects and features screenshot maps of video games. It is the often cited by the online community as being the most comprehensive screenshot map collection on the Internet, currently hosting over nine thousand maps for over thirty different game platforms, classic and modern. The web site covers any video game console or computer platform that maps are submitted for, though the most popular sections are those of the NES, Super NES, and the Game Boy line of handhelds.
Since 2005, updates have been regular, with new maps added nearly every weekend. The web site also has a forum where people can discuss and choose mapping projects or share techniques for mapping.
History
The inspirations for the site were the screenshot maps often seen in such magazines as Nintendo Power. Such maps are not commonly featured on other gaming web sites such as GameFAQs.
The web site launched as "The Online Video Game Atlas" on May 6, 2002 by Jonathan Leung (known on the site as JonLeung) with a handful of his own screenshot maps, the first of which were of the Light World in The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past. The site grew slowly as others contributed their own maps to the site. Though the site began with JonLeung and his brother, known as JMTL, it would soon become entirely JonLeung's, with the exception of the forums, which are currently maintained by bustin98.
Beginning in May2004, a set of maps (typically from a completely-mapped or mostly-mapped game) would be featured on the front page each month, as the Map(s) Of The Month. The first set of maps to receive this honour were the Mega Man III (NES) maps created by Revned, a site and forum regular.
September2005 saw the launch of the current VGMaps.com logo, and a January 1, 2006 site relaunch changed the aesthetics of the site, as well as adding new features like the randomizing map links on the front page. To celebrate, the first official "VGMaps.com Atlas Project", a collaborative effort by the regulars to fully map out Super Mario Bros. 3 for the NES was revealed, one "World" a week, for the first eight weeks in 2006.

Mike Abrashoff, former Commander of the Guided Missile Destroyer USS Benfold, has spent the last 4 years developing the management techniques he used during his tenure in the Navy into a methodology for application to the business community. He is currently a highly sought after keynote speaker and leadership development consultant. His ideas are more fully explained in his book, “It’s your Ship” which has sold 160,000 copies to date and has been #9 on the NY Times Business Best Sellers List and #7 on the Wall Street Journal List. He has been featured in the Harvard Business Review (March, 2002) and Fast Company (April, 1999).
Mike credits his tenure as Military Assistant to U.S. Secretary of Defense, the Honorable Dr. William J. Perry as critical to his realization of the power of effective leadership. During that period, he traveled to over 50 countries in support of sensitive, national security objectives. But, more importantly, he had the opportunity to assist in the implementation of the Federal Acquisition Reform act of 1994 which revolutionized the military budgeting and procurement processes which has resulted in budgetary savings of over 30% in many new weapons programs.
Critical to the success of that initiative was the realization that people really do make the difference. Mike’s people management skills were honed during his tenure as the Personnel Assignment Officer for over 4,000 Officers for every warship in the U.S. Atlantic Fleet where he matched skills, recognized potential and incorporated vision for leadership positions in every aspect of Naval operations.
For the last 50 years, US corporations have benefited from the management expertise of the US Military. That model stressed a top down, command and control management style which was very successful. But in today’s world of instant communication and information flow that model has proven to be slow to react and ineffective. Through progressive leaders like Mike, the Military services are now scrambling to adjust to the new order which Mike believes will result in the antithesis of top down management - bottom-up or “GrassRoots Leadership” as Mike has coined it.
Service Achievements: Spokane Trophy awarded to USS Benfold, the most combat ready ship in the US Pacific Fleet. Helped draft the Air Defense Plan for US Naval Forces during Desert Storm. Numerous other medals and awards.
Education: US Naval Academy, 1982, Political Science Webster University, 2003, Doctor of Laws (honorary)
Mike is a native of Altoona, PA. and currently resides in Arlington, VA.
