Terence Alan "Spike" Milligan (April 16 1918 - February 27, 2002) Indian-born Irish comedian, novelist, poet, jazz musician and member of the Goons. Spike Milligan suffered from bipolar disorder for most of his life, having at least ten breakdowns.

Cited as an inspiration of the Monty Python team.
