The United Kingdom's full name is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and I believe that this name is consistent with the Library of Congress classification for the Law of the United Kingdom and Ireland.

I was just looking at this and considering whether it is time for me to expand the "KD" subclass. The title appears here exactly as it does at the LoC's own page which is linked from our Library of Congress Classification main page. Doing things this way allows room for the Republic of Ireland.
