Octapad is the brand name of an electronic percussion pad manufactured by the Roland Corporation of Hammamatsu, Japan. It is flat and rectangular, and its plastic surface is divided into eight parts. Each part can trigger a different sound via MIDI. The octapad can be played with drumsticks or mallets.
