Clymene

In Greek mythology, Clymene ("famous might") referred to four distinct beings.

  1. Wife of Helios and mother of Phaeton.
  2. Mother of Atalanta and wife of Schoeneus or Iasus
  3. Grandaughter of Minos and mother of Palamedes by Nauplius.
  4. An Oceanid and wife of Iapetus. Mother of Atlas, Epimetheus, Prometheus, and Menoetius.
