Hello Omghgomg, I've added some comments at the FLC for Carrie Underwood discography. Hope they're useful. Feel free to get in touch with me should you need anything more. The Rambling Man (talk) 13:32, 10 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there. Yes, it's a difficult one when there's a dispute over content, moreover it's arguably worse when it's about presentation as that can be highly subjective. All I can recommend you do right now is to try to get some consensus for what you think the right approach to the article is (I noticed there seemed to be a couple of other editors working on the article) and perhaps speak with User:Drewcifer3000 who seems to be quite experienced with discography articles. Keep the dialogue going with the editor in question, communication is the key. As an admin I can do nothing here until edits either break the WP:3RR or things become heated... sorry! Good luck, let me know if there's anything else I can do. The Rambling Man (talk) 08:04, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I really disagree that you keep changing the formats to fit your style, and don't let others change them since you began to edit. I'm going to hold a vote on format issues on featured list discussion page. again, my main point is on the FORMAT, I won't argue about other charted songs again. for format change, I will include certifications, note under albums, dashes, and the position of the albums on singles and songs (I like left better). again, if you dislike "my way of format", I will continue arguing.

Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:Celine-andrea-pavrotti.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 21:17, 25 February 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Carrie Underwood

If I were you, I'd speak to User:Scorpion0422, he usually closes the FLC's down. Sorry it hasn't worked out for you this time, let me know if you need anything further. The Rambling Man (talk) 09:05, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You're very welcome, give me a shout when the dust settles and you want to pursue the FLC again! All the best.. The Rambling Man (talk) 10:58, 27 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Carrie Underwood (Last Name)

I had thought that Radio and Records and Billboard were one and the same now. Since "Last Name" is at #46 on Radio and Records, I figure that it would be that on Billboard. The only possible way to find out if "Last Name" is at #46 on Billboard is when Billboard publishes its chart on Thursday on the web and that way we will know if it is that chart number in Billboard. Another possibility is that "Last Name" may have been released early for the country charts and possibly the April 7th release date is for adds on Pop, AC, and other formats. BravesFan2006 (User talk:BravesFan2006|talk) 06:42, CDT, 18 March 2008 (UTC)

Do you have the Billboard magazine (the one by subscription) for the chart week of March 29, 2008 at hand? What does it show at #46 on there? Another thing is that on Saturday, CMT puts a news section on what's number one on the Billboard country charts and the debuts that have entered this week. Vote

Actually, if you take a look at my posts, I was completely against the idea of a vote, and suggested bringing the discussion (not the vote) to a broader venue, such as WPP:MUSIC. Voting usually doesn't accomplish anything, in my experience. Drewcifer (talk) 17:35, 28 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Corrs FAC

I've gone through the article as you asked, but I'm unusure whether or not it's comprehensive so I've had to oppose. I've left a comment on the FAC. Chwech 16:33, 2 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Carrie Underwood Last Name

Just dropping you a note to let you know that R&R merged with Billboard in 2006. Therefore, "Last Name" is currently at #46 on both Billboard and Radio & Records. The country chart posted to R&R's website is exactly the same as the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters(Broken clamshellsOtter chirps) 17:35, 18 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Also, keep in mind that Billboard doesn't update until Thursday, while R&R updates on Wednesday. Bravesfan2006 (talk · contribs) and I are getting our info from the R&R chart highlights page, which is here. Every chart position listed on that page is for the R&R chart dated for 3/21, which corresponds exactly to the Billboard chart for 3/29. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters(Broken clamshellsOtter chirps) 18:13, 18 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
One more comment: R&R didn't merge into Billboard until after Don't Forget to Remember Me hit #1 on the "old" R&R charts (i.e. the chart that's now called Mediabase). I will change that song's footnote to reflect this. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters(Broken clamshellsOtter chirps) 05:40, 19 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
That's okay. You're not the first user to get the whole R&R/Billboard/Mediabase thing mixed up. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters(Broken clamshellsOtter chirps) 05:45, 19 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

"Did not chart"

On second thought I believe you're right about "did not chart". It may be a little confusing but I guess it works. Ten Pound Hammer and his otters(Broken clamshellsOtter chirps) 00:28, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
