Hi, I was born in Cologne (Germany) in 1950. Since 1975 I have lived in various locations in England. Now in the beautiful Peak District. I have a son aged 23 who is studying Computer Science at Edinburgh.

I hope to contribute pages on a variety of subjects, mainly my specialisms: Ancient and Modern Languages (I teach Latin, Classical Greek, French, German and Italian); Ancient Cultures (Assyrian, Etruscan etc.); Theology; Various Art / Craft subjects; Lighthouses; Early Flight; Trams; Windmills etc.

Pages written Heinrich Böll, Assisi Embroidery, Assisi, Blackwork Embroidery, Lied, Sea of Galilee, Shekinah, Thule Society, Vehmic Courts, Via Maris.

Pages contributed to Strasse des 17. Juni........

Notes for myself: Heinrich Böll - find out which German titles these correspond to: The Safety Net, Adam and the Train, The Mad Dog, Ashes and Diamonds, Children Are Civilians Too, Acquainted With the Night.........they could be short stories. Also 'Im Tal der donnernden Hufe' - when published? translated?
