Tilt (American TV series)
Tilt is a US TV series set against the backdrop of the World Poker Championships in Las Vegas, and with the tagline "You're playing poker. They're playing you." The series first aired on January 13 2005, and is the second original drama series from ESPN, following "Playmakers". It was created by Brian Koppelman and David Levien, who co-wrote the poker-themed feature film Rounders. The Black Crowes song "Remedy" was used in the show's commercial promotions before its premiere in January 2005.
Plot
A group of professional poker players bands together to take down legendary gambler Don "The Matador" Everest (played by Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill star Michael Madsen) in a cash game. Each player has his own reason for wanting to hurt The Matador, including a cop who wants to see him in jail for killing his brother. The series depicts the fast lifestyle of the professional Las Vegas poker player.
