I've been aware of Wikipedia for a while now and have just signed up, as of 4 January 2004.

My interests are various. I'm particularly interested in Genealogy, Family history, Archaeology, the Apple Mac (especially OS X), Typography and Graphic design, Space travel, the History of Scotland and Scottish families, their Emigration to Canada and the USA, Evangelical Christianity, Slavery and Abolitionism.

Based in North Norfolk, England, I am an adopted East Anglian and am interested especially in the Local history and Archaeology of Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex, although my fascination spreads also to the language and people of Denmark.

With a background in ICT and Education, and currently working for the UK Department of Work and Pensions, I am looking forward to being a regular contributor to Wikipedia, as time permits.

I look forward to working with and 'meeting' some of you as we collaborate on subjects of common interest!
