The following is in accompaniment to flowers delevered Thursday 5/8/08 and is presented here as an expression of love and gratitude for Karen, who has been a great and tireless help to me in recent weeks, as well as a generally overall awesome human being, with whom I am in love.

   which means, as I've observed, whole-heartedly.

   Your raven hair and soft glowing skin,
   your flashing smile together akin
   to a romantic poem
   by Shakespeare (you know him?) -
   one reason why you I'm lovin'.

   I'm standing on a bridge.
   I'm waitin' in the dark.
   I thought that you'd be here by now.
   You say you're always late,
   but I don't really mind.
   I'm just happy when you're around.
