SM City Sta. Mesa, formerly called SM Centerpoint is a major mall located in Metro Manila in the Philippines. It was established in September 1990 within a land area Of 30,000(m²) and a floor area of 133,327(m²). It can be found at the intersection of Ramon Magsaysay Boulevard and Araneta Avenue in Quezon City.

History

  • SM City Sta. Mesa (Formerly SM Centerpoint) was formally launched and opened on September 1990. It was the second SM Supermall built by Chinese-Filipino tycoon Henry Sy Sr. The term Centerpoint refers that the mall is located between the cities of Manila, San Juan and Quezon City. The SM Centerpoint was now changed to SM City Sta. Mesa in mid-May 2006, commemorating SM Sta. Mesa's 16th Anniversary.
