The episodes of season 1 are named idiosyncratically, in a manner that every 3 episodes are named after concepts from a certain field of science: The first 3 episodes are named after notions in Biology, the next 3 are named after ones in Economics, the following 3 are terms in Chemistry and Physics, while the final 4 are notions in Sociology and Psychology.

However, the imposter was actually the Chameleon, a criminal who uses various disguises and it is up to the webslinger to team up with the cat burglar known as the Black Cat to stop his new enemy's crime spree and clear his name but the Black Cat has other ideas which includes stealing in which Spider-man does not notice. | |||

With his Aunt May in a hospital and his friendship with Eddie Brock ruined, Peter finally gains enough self-awareness to realize the alien Symbiote is starting to take over his mind and turning him more aggressive. Peter begins to celebrate Thanksgiving as his Aunt May is released from the hospital. Eddie Brock (transformed into the vicious Venom by the alien Symbiote) repeatedly stalks Peter and threatens to destroy anyone Peter knows and loves. However, it is up to Spider-Man to defeat this new arch-nemesis. At the very end of the episode, Gwen shows her emotions towards Peter by giving him a kiss in which Peter realizes how much he cares for her. |
