Kaufbeuren (Template:IPA2) is an independent city in the Regierungsbezirk of Schwaben, southern Bavaria. The city is completely enclaved within the district of Ostallgäu.

History

During World War II, a subcamp of Dachau concentration camp was located in the city.[2]

Tänzelfest

The Tänzelfest is a festival, which takes place usually at the end of June. Children play the history of their town. They wear traditional clothes. There are a lot of events at this time.
