San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department serves San Bernardino County, California. The department provides law enforcement services to the unincorporated areas of the county and 14 contract cities. The department also operates the county jail system, provides marshal services for the county superior courts, and has numerous other specialized divisions to serve the citizens of San Bernardino County.

Organizational Structure

The department is organized into the following bureau's:

Patrol Operations Region I

This bureau provides law enforcement services to the densely populated southwest corner of the county, which includes parts of the San Bernardino Valley, Pomona Valley, Cucamonga Valley, and the communities in the San Bernardino Mountains. The valley areas are part of the Inland Empire (California). This area is the 15th largest United States metropolitan area.

Big Bear Station- Provides law enforcement services to the unincorporated areas around Big Bear Lake, California.

Big Bear Lake Police Department- A contract city that serves the City of Big Bear Lake. These deputies operate out of the Big bear Station.

Central Station- This station provides law enforcement services to the unincorporated areas of San Bernardino.

Chino Hills Station- Formely known as the West End Station, this station serves the unincorporated areas around Montclair, California, Upland, California, Ontario, Chino, California, and Chino Hills, California.

Chino Hills Police Department- A contract city that serves the City of Chino Hills, California. This station operates out of the same facility as the Chino Hills Station.

Fontnana Station- Provides law enforcement services to the unincorporated areas around the City of Fontana, California.

Grand terrace Police Department- A contact city that serves the City of Grand Terrace, California. This station is operated out of the Central Station.

Highland Police Department- A contact city, this station provides law enforcement services exclusivly to the City of Highland, California.

Loma Linda Police Department- A contract city that serves the City of Loma Linda, California, this station is operated out of the Central Station.

Rancho Cucamonga Police Department- A contract city, this station provides law enforcement exclusivly to the City of Rancho Cucamonga.

Twin Peaks Station- Serves the unincorporated of the San Bernardino Mountains including the communities of Lake Arrowhead, California, Crestline, California, and Twin Peaks, California.

Yucaipa Station- Provides law enforcement services to the unincorporated areas around the cities of Yucaipa and Redlands. It also operates a resident deputy sub-station in Barton Flats.

Yucapia Police Department- A contract city that serves the City of Yucaipa, this station shares a facility with the Yucaipa Station.

Patrol Operation Region II

This bureau provides law enforcement services to the large Mojave Desert portion of the county. The deputies at many of these stations operate in remote areas.

Adelanto Police Department- A contract city, this station exclusively serves the City of Adelanto.

Apple Valley Police Department- A contract city, this station exclusively serves the Town of Apple Valley.

Barstow Station- Serves the unincorporated areas around the City of Barstow. Also has resident deputy sub-stations in Trona and Baker.

Colorado River Station- Serves the unincorporated areas around Needles and along the Colorado River. Also has a resident deputy sub-station in Havasu Landing.

Hesperia Police Department- A contract city, this station exclusively serves the City of Hesperia.

Morongo Basin Station- Serves the unincoroporated areas on the Morongo Basin.

Needles Police Department- A contract city that serves the City of Needles. The deputies operate out of the Colorado River Station.

Twentynine Palms Police Department- A contact city that serves the City of Twentynine Palms. The deputies operate out of the Morongo Basin Station.

Victor Valley Station- Serves the unincorporated areas of the Victor Valley. Also has sub-stations in Lucerne Valley and Phelan.

Victorville Police Department- A contract city, this station exclusively serves the City of Victorville.

Yucca Valley Police Department- A contact city that serves the City of Yucca Valley. The deputies operate out of the Morongo Basin Station.
