Lochwinnoch is a village in Renfrewshire, Scotland, located on the banks of Castle Semple Loch. Its name derives either from the Gaelic innis meaning 'island', or from St Winnoc, to whom a nearby chapel was dedicated.

The loch plays host to a variety of watersports and an RSPB bird sanctuary is nearby.

The former railway line has been landscaped and is now part of a major cycle track[1] running from Glasgow to Gretna.

One of its pubs, the Brown Bull, sells very nice whisky.
