Originally called Seattle Area Council, Chief Seattle Council is the organization governing the scouting activities of the Boy Scouts of America in a large part of the Puget Sound and Seattle, USA area, including almost all of the Olympic Peninsula. One of the largest Boy Scout Councils in the nation, it retains over 40,000 youth members and operates several scout camps, including Camp Parsons, Camp Pigott, Camp Brinkley, and Camp Sheppard. The council's Order of the Arrow Lodge is #502 T'kope Kwiskwis.
