I am a PhD candidate at University of Texas, Arlington in the Transatlantic History program. My dissertation focuses on the movement to abolish captial punishment. Dr. Steven G. Reinhardt is my dissertation chairman. My master's thesis is entitiled, "Executioners: The Cutting Edge of Royal Power."

I was born at an early age, in Fort Worth Texas. I attended Pascal High School, graduating in 1970.
