Regent Business School was established to satisfy the urgent demand for postgraduate management education in Southern Africa. At inception, a link was established with the University of Luton in the United Kingdom to offer a range of business and management programmes by supported-learning to Southern African students. Regent Business School (RBS) has benefited enormously from the association with the University of Luton and is now registered as a private higher education institution by the Department of Education in South Africa. In addition, the Council on Higher Education (CHE) has accredited the Bachelor of Commerce (B Com) degree offered by the Regent Business School.
