Danny Bonaduce
Danny Bonaduce (born August 13, 1959 in Broomall, Pennsylvania) is an actor and disc jockey. He originally gained recognition by starring in the television series The Partridge Family from 1970 to 1974.
Danny Bonaduce played the role of wisecracking Danny Partridge in the 1970s series. He was a good match for Dave Madden who played the Partridge Family manager.
He was married to Setsuko Hattori until 1988 when they divorced. In 1990, he met his wife, Gretchen, on a blind date. They married that same day (Bonaduce claims he only married her so he could sleep with her). They have two children together. He was the son of veteran TV writer/producer Joseph Bonaduce (1927-2004).
As an adult, he has had a successful career as a radio announcer and co-host of The Other Half, a daytime talk show positioned as a complementary show to The View. He was very succesful at WLUP in Chicago and then in Los Angeles co-hosting the morning drive-time show on Star 98.7 FM (KYSR) with Jamie White.
His departure from Star 98.7 occurred following a drunk driving arrest after which he entered rehab. After rehab Bonaduce did return on-air for a month, but was let go from the show on Friday, July 1, 2005. Jamie White addressed some of the on-air questions from listeners on the talk show a few days after the change. Jamie shared that Danny first came to the show because he was under contract but was being utilized. After the end of "Jamie, Frosty, and Frank", Danny was offered the job to co-host with Jamie and accepted. During his time on the show, Jamie had a great time with Danny. Danny usually held eBay auctions and shared experiences about his on-going TV appearances such as "The Other Half", "Celebrity Boxing", and "The Next Partidge Family". According to Jamie, Danny wasn't happy being on the show because he felt the arrest had changed the way his co-workers viewed him. Therefore, he talked with the boss and was let go to move onto other things. KYSR has made no official statement in regards to Danny.
He is currently the star of Breaking Bonaduce, a reality show on VH1.
