Humberto Fontova
Humberto Fontova (born 1954 in Havana, Cuba) is a Cuban American author of biographies, memoirs, and political non-fiction. He is also an anti-Castro political spokesman on issues relating to Cuba.
He and his family went into exile to the United States (New Orleans) in 1961 when he was 7 years old, while his father was held prisoner by the regime of Fidel Castro after the Cuban Revolution. He holds an MA in Latin American Studies from Tulane University.
Fontova is the author of Fidel: Hollywood's Favorite Tyrant, a highly critical portrait of Fidel Castro and his supporters in the United States, particularly Hollywood actors. He is a frequent contributor to several political publications, an ardent supporter of President George W. Bush, and a blogger on Moonbat. He often refers to those on the far-left as "moonbats", hence the origin of the site's name. Released on April 17, 2007, his latest book is Exposing the Real Che Guevara and the Useful Idiots Who Idolize Him. He has also made guest appearances on the Glenn Beck Program and Fox News show Hannity and Colmes.
