The Dreamer of Oz: The L. Frank Baum Story is a film that stars John Ritter as Lyman Frank Baum who wrote the Wonderful Wizard of Oz books.

The film shows how Baum came around to create one of the best loved stories of all time, but also describes his failures for the most of his adult years. However, the film is largely fictionalized.
