Dorian Fruit

A fruit found in Thailand, Phillipines, and similar Islands in that region of the world. When this fruit ripens a very strong odor emanates from it. It is bristling with sharp thorns and opens itself into 4 or 5 cracks. Each depression has one to six seeds covered with yellow or cream colored meat. This meat can be eaten uncooked or along with coconut juice. The seeds are also edible. This fruit can be boiled or grilled. File:Http://www.suisan.n-nourin.jp/kashi/fruit/dorian.jpg
