La Mosquitia (Honduras)

The La Mosquitia region contains the whole northeastern part of Honduras. This is a very underveloped region of tropical rainforest, and lacks roads. It is inhabited by various Miskito Indians, including the Pech and the Tawahka. It contains the Río Plátano Biosphere Reserve.
