Kaiserkeller - a night club in Hamburg, was opened in 1961. The Beatles had a contract with Kaiserkeller to play there in 1961. The club burned down in the same year, the German police used this occasion (and the fact that George Harrison had no permission to work in Germany) to send The Beatles out of the country.
