McMug is a cartoon pig character created over ten years ago in Hong Kong. McMug first appeared in comics, with its creation attributed to two people - the stories by Brian Tse and the artwork by Alice Mak. There has been great success after first publication. Some people believe that the success is due to its cute appearance, but even more think that it is due to the charming nature of the story.

Family of McMug

McMug was a pig adopted by humans. Before being adopted, he was just one month old and was living in one of the farm on Lantau Island. In a thundery night, all the pigs were very scared and escaped from the farm. Meanwhile, a couple that went to Lantau Island for a holiday met McMug. They thought that he was cute and decided to adopt him. McMug called them Papa and Mama. McMug not only received love from his parents. In fact, was also received fondly by the son, Dada and daughter, Yoyo of his adopted parents.

Lisa was McMug's penfriend. Although she did not have a beautiful face, she was a nice and understanding girl. In their first date, MuMug could not recognise her at first. However, after a letter by McMug fell from Lisa's handbag, he realised that the girl in front of him was Lisa.

School life of McMug

Like other children around his age, he needed to go to school. The name of the kindergarden was Springfield Kindergarden.

This kindergarten was one of the most popular places that appeared in the comics, and many funny things as well as comical events happened there. In addition, in the kindergarten, McMug got many classmates and friends, such as June, Fai, Goosie, May, Darby and McDull. The principal and the class teacher, Miss Chan, were the some of the important characters in the comics.

Also, McMug's school life are very diversified and enriching. Besides lessons, McMug likes singing with his friends, and so he participates the choir in his school. Although McMug and his fiends do not sing very well, they are one of the most funny choir.
