Boomer (Battlestar Galactica)
Boomer is a fictional character in the sci-fi series Battlestar Galactica. Two versions of the characters exist, one from the original version, and one from the new version that premiered in 2003.
Original version
The original Boomer was an African-American male portrayed by Herb Jefferson, Jr. Boomer was a lieutenant officer with a background in engineering.
2003 version
The new Boomer is a Korean female portrayed by Grace Park. In this version, the character's real name is Sharon Valerii, and 'Boomer' is just a pilot call sign.
