Jinan (Simplified: 济南, Traditional: 濟南, Pinyin: Jì'nán) is a sub-provincial city of China, capital of the province of Shandong.

The Huang He flows though the city.

Geography

Jinan is located in north of China, and surrounded by mountains. Tai Shan(Tai Mountain) which is one of China's most respected mountain is about 50KM away from Jinan.

Qufu is also a place must go if you go to Jinan. Qufu is the home of Confusior.

Food in Jinan

Lu Cai (Lu cuisine) is China's No.1 Cuisine, but normally salty and oily for westerners.
