Reverend Zen


Reverend Zen is a New York rock/r&b/jazz group that debuted in 2006 with their album, Angels, Blues & the Crying Moon. Blakjak Music Records / Anamosa Songs ASCAP.

The band was formed by Jack Evans, and he is the current lead singer and drummer.

The album was co-written by Evans and James Gerard. Musicians on the album have performed with Bruce Springsteen, Sting, Stevie Wonder, Eric Clapton, Annie Lennox, Elvis Costello, Shawn Colvin, Donald Fagen, John Scofield, B.B. King, David Sanborn, Sheryl Crow, Pearl Jam, Aretha Franklin, John Mayer.
