Longmeadow High consistently scores well above the national average in both the verbal and mathematics section of the SAT [1]. Longmeadow High School is also known for its Grammy award-winning music program, which includes an orchestra, a student-run chamber orchestra, two bands, a jazz band, a pep band, two women's choirs, a men's choir, an honors choir, an acapella women's choir, and an honors acapella choir. These ensembles have received numerous awards and honors, including international tours, performances at Carnegie Hall and Boston Symphony Hall, and MICCA Festival Gold Medals.
