The Sweet was the first album to be released in the US by the band Sweet. This album contains the singles the band actually played on up to 1973, and did not include the songs with backing musicians. It contains the UK hit singles "Little Willy", "Wig-Wam Bam", "Hell Raiser" and "Block Buster". Commercially it did not do well, only reaching #191 in the charts.
