I am a scientist. Borne in China, I have studied and worked in several western countries and acquired citizenship in a western country. Gradually I developed a broad range of interest including in history, literature, music, art, travel, etc. Only lately Wikipedia started to attract my attention. I believe that its true significance lies in the fact that it is a true means for democratic expression per Athenian style; i.e., without excessive protection and intervention from the authority. Of course, some of the sites do contain inaccuracy as all other forms of public media do. Hence, I decide to contribute some of my time to make it better. My effort so far has been concentrated on the history section, promarily on major historical cities in China. If any of you have strong opinion about my writing, please do not hesitate to write it in the space below. I might be able to answer your questions.
