Brett Gurewitz (aka: Mr. Brett and Brett Religion, born Tuesday, May 12, 1962) is a guitarist and former songwriter in Bad Religion. He is also the owner of the record label Epitaph Records.

Bad Religion was founded in 1980 with Greg Graffin, Jay Ziskrout and Jay Bentley and issued the first album in 1981. He has produced albums for his own Bad Religion as well as Epitaph Records labelmates NOFX, Rancid and Pennywise, among others. He has been replaced by Brian Baker in 1994 during the Stranger Than Fiction tour and started a new band, Daredevils, but rejoined Bad Religion in 2001 when they soon recorded their 2002 album The Process of Belief.

During 2003, Gurewitz started a new band called Error together with Atticus Ross, Leopold Ross and Greg Puciato.
